This place and experience was an absolute delight! The store has an incredible selection of non-alcoholic beverages from France and Europe. The owner even offered free tastings and he was super knowledgeable about all the different products in the store. It made learning and shopping a really enjoyable and easy experience. I learned a lot about some of the non-alcoholic wines and the vineyards, and I found the stories behind each bottle of wine I bought really fascinating. This became one of my favorite place in Paris!

My wife and I visited France in summer 2024. We decided to go to Bordeaux, the city of wine! Pierre, the owner, came to the train station to pick us up and brought us to his family estate by car. He was very nice and he spoke English very well. He told us about the story of Château Jalousie Beaulieu. Then, he took us to the old house, the winery cellar and the vineyard. At the end, there was a tasting of different wines. We learnt how to pair food with wine. There was both veg and non-veg food too. The tasting was very interesting as we could taste all their traditional wines. We also tried their alcohol-free wines called LA JALOUSIE. They basically use their traditional wine and then remove the alcohol. So, it keeps the aromas and flavours of wine. My wife and I could enjoy wine without the alcohol. We loved it so much that the owner gifted us one bottle of their dealcoholised wines for free. Thank you to Pierre and his lovely family!

Très belle découverte chez Belles Grappes ! Avec un ami, nous avons décidé de visiter cette cave par simple curiosité, désireux de goûter à des vins sans alcool. L’expérience a largement dépassé nos attentes. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par la fondatrice, qui a pris le temps de nous présenter différents types de vins sans alcool. Elle a su répondre à toutes nos questions, nous guider à travers les diverses saveurs et partager des anecdotes sur l’élaboration de ces vins, rendant la visite encore plus enrichissante.

Nous avons pu tester un large éventail de références, allant des classiques à des créations plus surprenantes, certaines révélant des arômes et des subtilités inattendus. Le cadre de la cave est également très agréable, bien qu’un peu étroit. Le lieu est vivant, surtout un samedi après-midi, mais reste suffisamment calme pour profiter pleinement de la dégustation. L’ambiance y est conviviale et chaleureuse, favorisant les échanges entre amateurs et curieux, ce qui rend l’expérience encore plus plaisante.

En résumé, je recommande vivement Belles Grappes à tous les amateurs de vin, qu’ils soient novices ou confirmés, ainsi qu’à ceux souhaitant découvrir une alternative sans alcool.

Such an amazing experience!

These wines are absolutely divine! They have a really unique taste and are the only non-alcoholic wines made from Gamay grapes on the market right now. I tried both the red and white versions of their non-alcoholic wines and I was pleasantly impressed. The red wine had an appealing intense fruity aroma with notes of wild strawberries, while the white wine was refreshing but still had the aromatic richness.

They also shared their amazing vineyard story, and I learned about the wine-making tradition of Beaujolais terroir, especially about Majolia’s history and wine-making recipe that draws on the excellence of an iconic and emblematic terroir.

It was a truly memorable experience!

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and the wines were absolutely divine. I learned a lot about the history of LA JALOUSIE and their secret recipe for making such delicious wine. I tried both the red and white versions of their non-alcoholic wines, and I was VERY impressed. The red wine was complex and elegant, while the white wine was refreshing and well-balanced, easy to drink.
They also shared some amazing food pairing tips for both wines. I learned a lot about the Bordeaux region and French wine in general, most things I would have not learned in America.
It was a truly memorable experience!
